Mellins

Last (2019) around April or May I went to Mellins to enquire about eye glasses, so they did eye test which I was told is free, then they prescribed glasses for me and they told me that they are not sure how much is my medical aid is going to pay for the glasses, then the lady that was helping me told me that they will enquire with my medical aid how much is going to pay and how much will I be required to pay, she also told me that they have to do affordability check to see if I qualify, she then took my details and I left, to my surprise come month end there was a debit order from Mellins and I reversed it because the last time I spoke to them there were still going to do the checks nothing was confirmed with me, so they also debited for another 2 months and I still reversed it again because I never took the eye glasses why are they debitting my account. To my surprise two weeks back I got a call from some collection agency telling me that Mellins has handed me over for not paying for the eye glasses,then I asked the lady why should I pay for something that I didn't take, I never took the eye glasses from Mellins, now I'm being blacklisted for something that I didn't take, Why??
