Incompetence and inconvinience at Mellin's i-Style.

Sometime in December 2022, I went to Mellin's i-Style, Loch Logan brench, in Bloemfontein, for an eye test and new glasses. My medical aid paid a certain amount and I had to pay a balance of R13 000 via debit order. Mellin's i-Style debited an amount R1878.33 at the end of January and February, as per our agreement. On the 6th of February 2023 I called them and spoke to a lady called Cindi Didi and asked for the balance. I paid R9300, which was the remaining balance, that means my account was paid up.

To my surprise, on the 1st March 2023, my account was debited of R1878.33, again. I have been calling these people, and spoke to a guy called Boitumelo since then. According to him, I was going to receive my refund on that very same day, but till today I haven't received my money. These people keep on sending me from pillar to post. I have received calls from different people, telling me that they'll refund me that day. I even went to Loch Logan, the branch where I did the eye test and glasses and they told me that they don't deal with accounts and they called Boitumelo and that the money went to Barmel, which i assume is their other partner. I spent more than 30 minutes at the branch and was even asked to go to the bank because they can't find the R9300 that I paid, even though I had the bank statement with me. I have received calls from them, asking me to email them my bank statement, proof that I am the account holder and ID copy. I have done all that, but today, the 06th of March, I have not received my money.

I am so sick and tired and they have inconvinienced me because, some of my debit orders didn't even go through, because of the amount they debited. I am fuming right now. Mellin's i- Style is so *********** .
