Bad Experience with Mellins i styles Rustenburg Branch

I have experienced a very Bad service with Mellins i-Style. I was due for my eyes test and new spactecles. I went to Mellins Rustenburg branch in June 2020. I did the procedure for the test.

They gave me a qoutation which I was not happy with which was plus of minus R10 000 of which I was going to pay R6 000 and medical aid was going to pay the balance.

I asked why that exorbitant amount the explanation was the extras that I've added medical aid will not covered. Then I requested for another quotation without extras and cosmetics.

Then the new qoutation was about R6450 and I was told that I will have to pay R2600 then medical aid will pay the difference. I accept the quotation.

I was told that I will have to pay first what is due by me before getting the spacticles in 2 weeks time. I agreed to pay the whhole amount that was about R2600. The spacticles too way too long after the expected time. I went to the branch seceral times to check on the spacticles finally I got them.

Since I was not owing anything they gave me the spacticles. After 2 I received a call from Mellins Rustenburg branch that I must come and collect the spectacles. I indicated that I've e already collected the specticles long time ago. After weeks I received an email which indicate that I owe R1314. 80. I later received a call about that R1314. 80. I disputed because the amount that I was told that i have to pay was R2600 which I paid. One consultant fro their finance department indicated that the Rustenburg branch have a tendency of making mistakes and It was not for the first time. She understood my explanation and promised to follow-up with the branch.

Later anothe consultants called I explained to them the whole story but they kept on. Until I demanded to talk to senior official. I was told that person was on leave and will call me. That person never called.

I went to the branch which is 240 km from where im staying. They explained that medical aid did not pay the whole amount and I stll owe R1314. 80. I then paid R500 and the bakance was R814. 80 which I also paid. Now they are say i owe R100. Which i find it very rediculous because i was told that if I make debit order to pay the outstanding amount i will have to pay R100 of admin fee. I didnt do debit order..
