The laundry piles up

<p>On returning a faulty Mellerware iron to Stax Dunkeld 2 weeks ago,I was told that it needed to be sent back to Mellerware for repair despite my request for a replacement given that it was only 2 months old and still within the 2 year guarantee.</p> <p>Today I was told by the Mellerware rep that repairs will take another 7-14 working days.</p> <p>Am I being unreasonable in thinking that 5 weeks without an iron I paid R750 for is excessive?</p>
