Mellerware - Poor Service and Poor Quality

Last year I received a Mellerware Blender/Food Processor combo unit from my husband for Christmas. I loved it, and used it often!! However, pieces of plastic on both the blender jug and food processor unit started cracking and breaking off, so the machine safety elements wont 'click in' and I cannot use it! I LOOK after my unit, wash it properly and it stays standing on the counter, do never packed away - well I used to use it!! I recently wrote in to the Mellerware Customer Center to inform them of this. They rep**** and I sent through pictures of the numerous cracks and breaks. Their response was a literal 'not our problem and this is not part of guarantee'!! WHAT a lot of *******!! Both elements are breaking, clearly an indication of poor materials/factory fault on the unit. I did not pick up the entire thing and throw it on the floor to make BOTH units crack and start breaking! POOR service and POOR quality!!!!
