False marketing

I bought a Mellerware blender under the agreement and expectation that you can register the online warranty which is 2 years. The instore warranty is 1 year. Apparently once you register the appliance online, the warranty is extended to 2years. However, the system is not user friendly and does not enable you to register the appliance online. The marketing instore is misleading and the online presence not userfriendly. As a result I have been unable to extend my warranty to the online promise.
