Azure 2200W kettle a waste of money!

I have purchased two mellerware glass kettles over a time span of two years. I should have learned my lesson after the first kettle stopped working. Even though I neglected to register the kettles I do have proof of when I purchased it. The fact that both kettles mulfuntioned is surely enough proof that this is a defective product. I see that their are a lot of bad reviews on mellerware glass kettles. Being informed that I have to pay for repairs on a product that broke because of bad workmanship baffles my mind. This company does obviously not take pride in their products or company name. Please people don't buy the mellerware azure 2200W kettle it's a substandard product. Apparently it's made in China. Pitty I had to give them one star as I really would've wanted to rate them a big fat zero! I am now the proud owner of a quality Bosch kettle and I don't have to register to get a warranty. Proof of purchase will do. Thank you!!
