Appalling quality and service combo
<p>I am not ordinarily one to complain and I am usually very tolerant but this experience has literally been a nightmare. I purchased a Mellerware Liquafresh juicer online from Loot.co.za for the purpose of following a specific detox and 8 week diet plan. It states on the box that the juicer can "juice whole fruit effortlessly". Nevertheless, I chopped up the fruit and veggies to make it easier and didn't exert the juicer at all. It worked for ONE day!! On the second day of the detox it blew a fuse or something and just stopped working whilst I was trying to prepare my juice for the second day of the detox. </p> <p> </p> <p>Disappointed, I contacted Loot.co.za and arranged for their courier to collect the defective product as their policy is that the manufacturer needs to evaluate the condition of the product before they'll agree to an exchange/ refund.</p> <p> </p> <p>Then, I just didn't hear anything for weeks. After following up and following up AGAIN, I was told that the manufacturer couldn't find anything wrong with the machine and that they would be returning it back to me as is. I mean, I am not someone who is bored with life and would send something back if it works! It didn't work! I checked it again and again to see if it would start over a couple of days before I sent it back. If the manufacturer had to fiddle with it a bit to get it to work again, you can't tell me there was nothing wrong with it!</p> <p> </p> <p>Anyway, the juicer was returned back to me, working but missing the jug/ juice receptor (which I had included in the box when I returned it to them) and it was dented (these dents weren't there when I sent it to them). The box also had a sticker on it saying "Replace" yet they refused to replace it because "there was nothing wrong with it".</p> <p> </p> <p>Now, I get so mad every time I look at the juicer. This is not how you treat customers, wake up Mellerware and Loot.co.za! Beyond disappointing and I will not be buying the Mellerware brand nor purchasing off Loot.co.za ever again!</p>
