********* DEBT COLLECTING

In 2012 I noticed an sms on my elderly mother's mobile phone, from Credit Intel, claiming that she owed a debt. No details given. No mention of Medipost Pharmacy. Only a cell number. After many fruitless attempts to contact this number, finally I reached a consultant. I queried the a debt, and requested that the original account be sent to my e-mail address, because I was now handling my 86 year old mother's finances. No such account was ever sent. I therefore assumed this sms was a ****, since no account for this debt had ever been received, by ordinary mail, registered mail or e-mail, and my request had been ignored. The sms's continued to be sent , with interest now being added. I made numerous attempts to contact Credit Intel, but, while connecting to an answering system, no one thereafter took my call. This confirmed my suspicion of a ****. I also reasoned that if the account was genuine, my mother would receive a letter of final demand. No such communication was ever received. Four years later, I suddenly receive details on my e-mail, but now with interest and lawyers fees added. From my perspective, ********* and unprofessional debt collecting, reflecting badly on Medipost.
