Pathetic Service

My father is a dependant on my Gems Medical Aid, he is also on chronic medication for his heart, pressure and diabetes. He takes insulin for his diabetes and all his medication is delivered via Medipost. Every month there is a problem with the medication and this month is no exception. My fathers insulin was delivered on 11 January 2017, the insulin which is supposed to be kept cold with ice packs was delivered with no ice, and the injections were actually hot which means they are dangerous if used, and this is not the first time this has happened. I reported the problem on 12 January 2017 and was told the insulin would be collected and replaced on 13 January 2017, this never happened. We were then informed that they would collect on 16 January 2017 and again this never happened. My father is now sitting without insulin as we are still waiting for Medipost to arrange to have the bad insulin picked up and replaced. I don't know if they understand that they are dealing with people's lives, or if they simply couldn't be bothered, but this service is shocking.
