NON DELIVERY OF CHRONIC MEDICATION

I suffer from diabetes and hypertension. Medipost is responsible for delivering my medication. I ran out of medication almost 2 weeks back and my wife had been pleading with them to deliver. Their excuse was they had no medication stock. They came to my wife's office last week to deliver without prior notification and she was not available. They just left without even making an attempt to re-deliver the vital medication. I fell ill and had to go to the doctor and pay cash for medication that is paid for by the medical aid. Medipost has no care in the world, you can die, they just do not care. How vital is medication like that, the fact that their lackluster attitude towards their customer is to the detriment of my health. <br> I have instructed my wife to immediately cancel everything with them. They are utterly useless. I will much rather pay all levies to get my medicine on time.<br> I will also lay a complaint at the HPCSA as well as the Ombudsman responsible to monitor them.<br> This is totally unacceptable, their can be no excuses.
