Medipost not considering client security

Medipost is the most recent company I've had phone me and then ask me to give them my ID number to verify me. This is utterly ridiculous, and if they just stopped and thought a bit about it they would understand why. In this day and age of ****s and identity theft, it's silly and unprofessional to expect someone to give their personal details so freely over the phone.
