NOT PAYING FOR DENTAL WHEN IT IS COVERED!

I’ve had issues in the passed with Medipet but mainly due to human error, like forgetting to renew my pet policies, twice! But they redeemed themselves with covering my premiums for a few months etc and many an apology. This included a gift for the cat I don’t own too…. But that’s not the issue!! I am not happy now. This is the post I made on their Facebook page. And as I type, I cannot believe I have to go to “this place” again. As I really hate complaining. Why won’t you pay my claim for dental???? My pug is on the top cover with the top dog added on, this option covers dental. It’s not cheap either. On my recent claim for my pugs dental/cleaning I received a refund of - wait for it - R 112.85. The amount claimed was R 3995.40 c. I am not even interested in your excuses Medipet. Pay the claim and let’s move on. I’ve had issues before and each time you have redeemed yourselves with excellence. Offering to pay premiums etc. This time I’m not interested in fighting or your apologies. Just please pay my claim. As you have done so previously without hassle. I pay this policy monthly and now specifically because my little dog is aging, and dental is a big part of their health and well being. Not remotely interested in engaging of discussing this. So over insurance companies and especially when it comes to my dogs well-being , and my pocket! Shame on you Medipet. Sort this out and so we can be friends again.
