Medipet pekinese

Before a long planned holiday to Zanzibar, our girl Pekinese presented with an eye ulcer. We took her to the vet that had prescribed some drops. Regrettably it did not seem to help the situation and the ulcer grew. We had trusted my brother with Ruby and made sure that we had another opinion form a vet on what the problems could be, in fact we had three vets look at her eye.

It was then established that she had to have surgery. There was growth of eye lashes on the inside of her eye that was the cause of the damage.

As my wife and I where in Zanzibar we had to try and organize all procedures and payments remotely, this is where Gina Bruni from Medipet and all her associates had been fantastic. All payments where made and all transport and care for our girl was organized and executed well.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to JHB eye clinic, Fourways Vet, Medipet and all the amazing staff that looked after Ruby in her time of need while we were away.
