******** blacklisting by Medihelp!

I’m so frustrated with Medihelp I don’t even know what to do! I have been a loyal member of Medihelp for many years until 31 December 2020 when I left my work because I had to take care of my baby who has brain damage. My baby was admitted in hospital on the 9th of December 2020 until 01 January 2021. Medihelp paid the invoice but later stated that I owe them the full amount of the entire hospital stay and refuse to take accountability for the days that I was still covered for. I have been telling them over and over again that the only day that I’m responsible for is the 1st of January, which was half day since that’s the day that the child was discharged. Now they have handed me over for the full amount of R117 000 and listed me on ITC! I am a black girl starting a business and it’s difficult to get funding because Medihelp had listed me now. I have been trying to communicate with the lawyers they handed me over to but she keeps telling me that she has lodged a dispute with Medihelp and she hasn’t received any feedback from them. Why am I being treated like this?
