They don't care for their clients needs

Hello. I have been with Medihelp 2011/12 main dependant was my folks ,and contributing towards my portion and kids. Then I went on my own Medihelp in 2014 till December 2024. My account is suspended. Because I was pleading with them that I cannot afford it I have been with them for so long and I can send all my expenses. They basically not interested in my story or that I need my chronics for life threatening illness and my boys need me in their lives. PMB listed doctors,, hospitals, and so forth are far out of the way. Scripts they don't always pay for them so that's out of your pocket.OTC mostly pay for yourself .I am on chronic medication and I have to see a specialist at least twice a year and I cannot. Because they don't pay for it..

Every year we get this huge increase of over 15% on the medical aid and being a single parent to dependants with the dad that has passed his hard going. Not a pity party. But I don't get an increase with a salary. But the outlay is a lot and then you still have monthly expenses, and they have so many exclusions. I feel they don't care about the welfare of their clients. As long as they have their money, that's that.

So I feel that I am talking to thunder when trying to negotiate with them or a brick wall. But if you want a medical aid that helps you as an individual and cares for your needs, Medihelp isn't the one for you and your family.
