The lost art of being a doctor and Medihelp eating my lunch

I have been a member of Medihelp for close to 40 years. I pay R4000 for Medihelp and its gap cover Stratum. I had a stomach bug this year and now, in March, my doctor's visits and medicine benefits are finished. The gp I am with, is great, But oh, when I need to see a specialist, I am asked for cash, which I may or may not get back. I am so disillusioned with Medihelp and the two specialist I saw this year in a so-called private hospital. There is no compassion or care. *** of betaal.
