I changed jobs and had to get a new medical aid. I joined Medihelp in August 2018, I had medical aid for over 10 years and had no Gap in cover. I had a planned procedure for today but Medihelp declined it and also terminated my membership due to me not disclosing an Illness I had over 10 years ago. Also I was diagnosed with Hypertension in 2018 after I joined Medihelp now they state I was diagnosed last year when I was never on medication, only as of this year and I only app**** for chronic after 3 months as I paid for the meds myself. What does my condition of over 10 years have to do with my procedure that is due now when the 2 are not even related? I am aware that I had to disclose but who in heavens name remembers something that happened over 10years and its human to forget as I cant even remember what happened last year let alone 10 years ago. Now they terminating membership but I have to wait 2months for my refund, I WANT MY MONEY AS SOON AS THIS MEMBERSHIP IS TERMINATED.I WANT MY MONEY AND WILL NOT WAIT 2MONTHS AS I NEED TO HAVE THE PROCEDURE DONE!

03 Dec 2018, 10:50And to date i am still waiting for a response. Brenda reads my emails and just ignore it, no response nothing just ignoring my emails. I call and she refuse to speak to me. Medihelp cancelled my membership last week Thursday and to date no indication of when i will receive m y money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They suck at SERVICE let alone TCF!!!!!!
