Shame on you Medihelp Medical Aid
PLEASE NOTE: On 29 June 2018 The Council of Medical Schemes made a legal ruling that I should be reinstated on the medical aid. It has been nearly 2 months and I have still not been reinstated. The ruling was made WHY have I not been reinstated? I am really suffering and am unable to lead a normal life. FOR WHAT REASON????
What type of medical aid does this?
Everybody please be aware. Medihelp will take your monthly subscriptions but when you need them they will not be there for you.

In terms of the Council of Medical Schemes (CMS) ruling dated 29 June 2018 as referred to in the above complaint, it is stipulated that: This decision is binding on both parties save when an aggrieved party appeals against the decision to the Council in terms of the provisions of Section 48 (1) of the Act. An appeal contemplated in terms of subsection (1) shall be in the form of an affidavit directed to the Council and shall be furnished to the Registrar not later than three months, or such further period as the Council may, for good cause shown, allow, after the date on which the decision concerned was made. The notice and grounds for appeal should be sent to ***.
