Selling our emails to marketing companies
<p>We took part in the Color Run last month and took pictures in the Medihelp booth. Medihelp sent out bulk emails arranged alphabetically with links to our pictures.</p> <p>Recently, companies have been spamming my inbox using the same email list that Medihelp did.</p> <p>For a medical aid, this is a very disrectful way to make yourselves rich.</p>

We are a not-for-profit organisation and our sponsorship of the Color Run is in support of the Medihelp brand to promote a fun, fit and healthy lifestyle. We would certainly not risk reputational damage by selling databases – in fact, we pride ourselves in our excellent reputation for applying the strictest governance and confidentiality policies.
