I had to change medical aids from my husbands to my own. I chose medihelp as it was within my budget and suited my needs as per the brochure. I had NO BREAK in medical aid literally just went from 1 to the other. They put me on a 3 month waiting period which i accepted and paid etc... In this time i called twice to confirm when the waiting period will be lifted just to be doubly sure. Come month 4 i need to make use of the medical aid and no2 they decide they want to investigate. Is this not something that should have been done before accepting me as a member. I have never before had an issue like this with any medical aid. If i do not get my authorization i will obviously be canceling my membership with them. I am im excruciating pain seriously need to have op amd its gone more then a week now i have not heard from them. Reading all these bad reviews here had i known i never would have wasted my hard earned money.
