Options not clear to understand

Laparoscopic Firstly I can say that Medihelp is a excellent medical aid BUT think they must do something about the descriptions on their options.. I went for a gallbladder operation and must pay in R4200 (hospital never tole me that there is a Co payment when they asked for authorisation number otherwise I would rather asked the specialist to cut me open which will cost a medihelp money as I would stay longer in hospital) I always understand that under Endoscopy that it is when you swallow the camera but have to find out whe what they make holes in your body it falls under Endoscopy.. I feel that Medihelp must specify what falls under Endoscopy as I went for a Laparoscopic and that does not fall under Endoscopy... My family is Blessed and we don't go to hospital until it is really necessary.. I'm a Sassa pensioner and must pay now R4200 to the hospital which I don't have... That's why I say if this was in the option list Laparoscopic Co payment R4200 I would not let them do this but asked the spesialist to rather cut me open and take gallbladder out as it was full of stones and I have a lot of pain. So I want to make people aware of the word Endoscopy which means holes in your body with that machine you going to pay R4200.....
