No sense of emergency

I was very ill, Dr referred me to Louis Pasture hospital immediately for medical attention. I had an ovarian cyst which had twisted. Upon arrival at hospital, all paperwork was done, and the hospital staff called medihelp for approval. Next thing i was told medihelp needs to do a check first and it takes about 3 days. There i am, in severe death pain. I couldnt even walk. Medihelp refused to approve my admission after i have been paying all my premiums, R1260 every month, i have not claimed anything, i have not used the medical aid for anything, but just this one time i could not get help. I am so disgusted at medihelp that i would never advise anyone to use their service. One can actually die at a hospital reception because of medihelp. I have paid so much money that i have worked so hard for. I ended up going being turned away in that pain, i cant even describe how painful it was. I had to go around pretoria streets to find a government hospital. I have just recovered from the cyst, after all that i have gone through. There is no sense of emergency or urgency with medihelp. It is very disappointing especially since one is loyal and trust them to take care of you when you are ill, especially emergencies such as the one i had. Use medihelp if you want a quick way to die and be closer to your grave.
