NO Network specialist in Port Elizabeth

I am currently 31 weeks pregnant and on Medihelp. I am aware that I must use a network hospital and specialists within Medihelp's DSP network to avoid co-payments when planning procedures or admissions. Last week I was given forms to complete for my hospital admission for my upcoming c-section as well as a letter with my doctor's fees etc. Upon getting my authorization from Medihelp it came to my attention that Medihelp would only pay a small portion of my doctor's account as he is not within their DSP network. Medihelp referred me to a specialist within their network should I choose to rather use him and avoid the huge co-payment. I phoned the doctor who informed me that he does not even do obstetrics and delivery of babies. I brought this to Medihelp's attention via numerous phone calls to their call centre as well as an email. 3 Days later and still no one from Medihelp has done anything about this. I cannot do my hospital bed booking and I have no peace of mind as to my medical aid cover or which doctor I will end up with for the birth of my baby. Nobody I have spoken to has treated this with any sense of urgency at all! This is the worst service ever!
