No authorization whilst in hospital.

Was admitted into mediclinic hospital pmb severe chest pain, on Saturday evening 1 June 2019. During this time my cardiologist wanted to rule out stomach ulcers and wanted to send me for a scope but could not be authorized due to me only being on medical 11 months and investigation pending. This was very stressful for me as I was already in hospital and could get no info out medihelp, their words was we cant tell you how long or if it will be authorized. I felt I was let down and asked my cardiologist to release me from hospital which I felt was very degrading for me. I am still in pain and still no response from medihelp. Feelling very disappointed and felt let down in my time of need. I had no limitations on my card no waiting periods, I was let down.
