Network Hospital Changes

My wife and I have been members of Medihelp since 2023, and in 2024, we selected our network doctor and hospital for her pregnancy. Everything went smoothly throughout 2024 until recently when I booked a bed for my wife at Medi-Clinic Paarl for her due date in March 2025. To my surprise, I learned that Medi-Clinic Paarl is no longer a network hospital in our package. We were not informed of any changes to the network hospitals for 2025, and now we face the unexpected burden of covering 35% of the hospital bill to proceed with our original choice. When I contacted Medihelp, they stated they would only accommodate patients giving birth in January 2025. I find this situation both unprofessional and *********, given the lack of communication regarding the changes. We would appreciate your assistance in addressing this matter and ensuring that appropriate measures are taken to keep members informed about network updates.
