Medihelp unreachable by telephone since days..

Our elderly mother is covered by Medihelp and we've had nothing but trouble getting her claims approved. To make things worse, they have unexpectly raised their fee's this month by R500 without any prior notice. I have been trying to reach a representative on the phone for the past three days, no luck. How can a business opperate like this?
