Medihelp Medical Aid not great for a family - NO PMBs paid out

I have been on Medihelp since 2013. I am on Medihelp Prime 3 With a REGISTERED Chronic condition. Every year Medihelp sends me my PMB (Prescribed Minimun Benefit) Basket for my chronic condition. However when I go see my Drs regarding my condition or when I do my bloodtests that are required for my condition, EVERYTHING gets paid from my savings instead of my PMB.

Now, I have a baby to worry about but, half way through the year, and all my day-to-day savings is used up because Medihelp takes my Chronic payments from the day-to-day instead of the PMB.

I would advise anyone starting a family or who has a family NOT to use Medihelp. Keep in mind that Prime 3 is one of the higher packages so I can only imagine how the lower packages would be useless with a family.

I pay R6912 for myself, my husband and my toddler of two and a half. Definitely not a happy customer.
