Medihelp Medical Aid

I had my appendix removed in April only to receive an outstanding bill of R17000 end July which my medical did not cover. This procedure is meant to fall under PMB and should be covered by my medical aid.When i called in they also informed me that my plan no longer fully covers Kingsbury Hospital. I received no communication informing me of this change.I have called numerous times requesting proof of this communication with no proof to date. I have reference numbers but they worth nothing, they cannot retrieve any prior communication with previous agents.Calls recorded means nothing too. I am still waiting on the supervisor to call me as requested but no feedback. The call centre is not helpful and agents provide you with conflicting information.I would not recommend this medical aid to anyone. My Gap cover is also not covering this shortfall, also terrible - Gapcover Western
