Medihelp - looking for excuses NOT to pay a claim

We try not claim from our savings account and therefore we have built up quite a large savings account. The past 2 months we had 2 claims rejected by Medihelp for ridiculous reasons. The one claim they rejected was for a dentist account, which they say they did not receive the quote from the service provider - which is not true, as I rep**** on a mail sent by Medihelp to let them know there is sufficient funds in the savings account, they can continue with the claim. The other claim they rejected was for standard blood tests done by Ampath, but because the doctor who requested the blood tests is not on their list of doctors, they will not pay. So be VERY careful when you go for a procedure, even if you have more than enough money in your savings account - Medihelp will look for excuses not to pay
