Medihelp has no sense of urgency for an EMERGENCY SURGERY

I have been admitted into hospital since Wednesday the 02-09-2020. I have been informed that I am in need of an EMERGENCY SURGERY to prevent irreversible damage to my sight.
I have since yesterday been sending through requests and motivations from the Drs only to have NO feedback or Authorisation for surgery to take place today at 1pm. It is now 1pm Friday 04-09-2020
I have been told that I must await feedback for authorisation or I will be liable for all the costs.
This is not just any procedure which can wait. This procedure is an emergency to prevent further irreversible damage to my eye sight.
The fact that Medihelp doesn't see the urgency in this matter is disgusting and unprofessional. I am not happy with the response and urgency that Medihelp is taking this matter in.

I have now been discharged and sent home as the surgery had to be cancelled. I have been warned that should this fluid situated behind my eyes burst I will be blind and possibly die!
This surgery was AN EMERGENCY!
