Medihelp expect you to pay for NOTHING

<p>Last year we fell into some serious financial issues due to work giving us choices either retrenchment or pay cut of only 25% of your salary. We couldn't afford most of our debt and due to this missed some payments of Medihelp. They then informed us in December that our medical aid is cancelled, at that time we did not want to cancel as we felt that things were going to get better, unfortunately by end January we realized that it is best to rather cancel medical aid as we will not be able to afford catching up on the payments. Medihelp was very quick to cancel when we missed payments without asking extra, but when we changed our minds about cancellation in January they expect us to pay all installments since October. Our membership has been suspended since that time, we have received no benefit what so ever, so what are we paying for? We have begged to please help, we do not have the money, but they just ignore our pleads and keep sending us demands. This is not a product we bought, so how can they expect us to pay for NOTHING? We are asking Help, we don't have money to pay for NOTHING</p>
