I had a surgery that was not a day procedure, but I was pre approved with no extra costs. However, two months later, I received bills from different doctors and the hospital. They charged me for codes that were not approved later, even though I had "no co-payments". The problem is that they classified procedures that were clearly not day procedures as day procedures, so I was not fully covered. Don't be fooled by their claims of "200% covered" or full hospital admission. They have excuses for everything that are illogical. Be careful, because I think they will do the same for any surgery, even a back operation. They will expect you to leave the hospital right after the surgery or pay the difference if you stay longer. I'm terminating my contract and they don't care. This is the worst medical aid ever.
