Medihelp disappoints everytime!

I have been with Medihelp since 2017. One would think after years of excellent membership payments and high membership fees members would actually gain the benefit for what they are paying for however it’s has always been the 1 disappointment after the other with them and always a fight to get authorisation for procedures or a fight to get medical services paid because they always find and excuse to not pay or short pay. Members were than advised to take up gap cover to cover such shortfalls, done this to cover myself and my family yet they still reject codes & procedures knowing gap covers won’t cover shortfalls if nothing is paid by the medical aid. Even in hospital procedures are now being rejected even if you are admitted through ER. I am so sick and tired of being stressed out when one is already battling with so many conditions. I am really fed up and moving my membership elsewhere where i have peace of mind when being sick rather than to worry which bills will not be paid or being on so much pain yet procedure codes are being rejected. Medihelp is a waste of money!! Would not recommend them to anyone!!
