MEDICAL AID SUSPENDS BENEFITS THEN ONCE THEIR MEMBERSHIP FEE AFTER TERMINATION

I have not been covered with Medihelp since the 30 November 2019. I requested them to lower my premiums, they are unable to do so. My Medical Cover has been suspended since 30 November 2019.Now that i have terminated my medical aid with them as i am unable to afford Medihelp, they are now demanding that i pay the monthly subscription that i wasn't even covered for. To put salt on the wound they absolutely REFUSE to provide me with my termination letter. I am not going onto another Medical Aid but my dad has tried to get MY CHILD onto his and they REFUSE to give or provide me with my certificate of termination. My question is, how can you pay for benefits that you were not covered for for 2 MONTHS, please explain to me??????????????????
