What a pathetic bunch. Despite the current standards of care they refused to pay for my life-saving medicines for a CD LPMB. With the support of the alleged ombudsman, The Medical Schemes Council. I switched to Discovery and had approval for my medicines within 48 hours.

09 Jul 2024, 14:48Medihelp is economical with the truth. My option covered the medicine I needed - I have screenshots from their own website to prove it. They refused to listen to expert motivation. They claim to provide up-to-date standards of care but I have references to the ACP recommendations that prove them to be less than honest. They wanted me to be on treatment no better than placebo but with significant side-effects - without telling me their preference for inferior care. Go elsewhere.
