Hidden catches!

The plan that I was on, just changed in January, to have a savings account. I had to cancel my medical aid as I got retrenched and still haven't found a job. Surely they should use my membership payments for my Drs visits etc? Now I'm still sitting without a job and income, and they want me to pay almost R3000 that I now owe them on my savings account! They said they could give me 3 months to pay it. Do they not understand that I don't have an income?! U never wanted a savings plan! Then I could have gone to a different medical aid!
