Full consultation cost

As during the past couple of years I phoned dr Breytenbach's rooms for a prescription on a known condition which repeats every year. I was told earlier it is not necessary to visit her rooms as she knows my condition and can just repeat the normal prescription. On finding it costs me a full consultation, I phoned and was told that this is the contract with the medical aid.<br> <br> I was told that the doctor would look at it again, and will come back to me. My intention was to ask for a reduced cost to cover her time for writing the prescription. Unfortunately the doctor did not come back to me.<br> <br> I am afraid if the medical aid, to which I contribute a few thousand rand every month, has such a contract, I cannot do much about it, BUT in the end I am the client and would like to raise my voice against this malpractice.<br> <br> Hope there are more complaints like this, so that we can change this misuse of the system..<br> <br>
