Fight for claims to be paid

I submitted three claims for immunisations for my Daughter. The first one in December was paid. I then submitted a claim on the 20th of Ja - was rejected as 'service were excluded', then I submitted a third claim on the 10th of Feb again this was rejected - I then called Medihelp's call centre on the 23rd of Feb to follow up on these claims and why they were rejected. A ****** could go on to the Medihelp website and see that the immunisation are covered under my medical aid, hence the December claim was paid.

Over the next couple of weeks I spoke to Lauren (23/2), JD (11/03), Louise (19/03), and George (20/3). I was told the claims were sent for investigation at it would take two weeks. Nearly a month later I am still waiting. It seems I pay a monthly fee to fight for my claims to be paid. It is very frustrating that you always speak to a different person and have to explain the whole story time and time again, get put on hold and get more excuses. I have probably spent more money on calls then my claims are worth. I would love to see how quick Medihelp would respond if I did not pay at the end of every month?

My Doc reference number is W***.

Frustrated
