Double deduction of membership
I woke up this morning with a double deduction of my medical aid membership leaving me with R200 for a month to cover food and transport. I made a payment on the 26th of January already but it was deducted again this morning. This is completely unacceptable. My account is up to date. I did email them but it takes 2 weeks for a refund to have. What do I eat for 2 weeks? How do I get to work for 2 weeks?

05 Feb 2024, 07:55According to Medihelp it will take 10 days before I will receive a refund. I did email them again today for an update as I only have funds for food and transport till the 11th,after that I will be going hungry.

10 Feb 2024, 09:20So I did receive an email that my refund is being processed. Previously I was told I will receive my money back in 10 day. What a lie!
My refund is sent for PROCESSING at 10 days, the SMS I received this morning states that I will physically receive my money back on the 15th of February. I don't know how I am getting work or what I am going to eat till then as I used my last R200 to put in petrol which will last for a day.......but what does Medihelp care.
