Don't use Medihelp they don't care about old people

We have been Medihelp members from 1979 and never abused the fund they made a lot of money out of us. Now that I am a pensioner and need them they charge us R3000 excess extra for a colonoscopy just because the dr does it in a hospital theater. We can't afford it. I am not sleeping there and will be there max for 1 hour. We have also found out that they are one of the few that don't pay for joint replacement operations They made lots of money out of us but now that we are old this is the case. We are not on one of the low options. Would they rather that I don't go for the colonoscopy and then perhaps later pay for expensive treatments as a result for not going in time??!! Every sonar you have to pay an excess of R1000. S**** the Excess for old people. We will now at our old age need to seek another medical aid. Out of our monthly money we already pay R7000 plus. That is a lot. So at least cover a proses that is 20 minutes!!
