Don't get Medihelp

The Medical Aid has really gone down the drain. They change their Network providers all the time and is not stable. Imagine being 8 months pregnant and you must change a Gyni (that was my first pregnancy). Now I am pregnant again and they brought in this stupid nonsense of getting a referral to see a specialist and imagine having a one year old getting sick with all his teething and now you need to get referrals and still pregnant and needing referrals all the time. My medical Aid is halfway finnished already and not worth it. I was also told initially when I found out I was pregnant that you don't need a referral when pregnant as it comes off the benefits, the other time I had a query again asked the person on the phone just to make sure and they said you again do need a referral. Where is the training of the people, imagine if the consultants are so confused, how confused we must be????? I then managed to get an appointment with a network gyni, the bill was R2500 of which medihelp is only paying R900 (rounded off). When querying this they said that the Dr is overcharging and they don't know why..... This is absolutely unacceptable. I also further sent an email on the 25th of March and still have not even received anything back from them. So long story short don't get Medihelp!!!!!
