DO NOT USE CARE LINE TO GET MEDICAL AID!!!

We are very unhappy with MediHelp and Careline Medical Aid Advisors. My mom has taken out the Medihelp Necesse plan with Gareth Coetzer from Careline, who is now not in their employ any longer. When he came out to see her, we asked him several times if Medihelp will pay for her Chronic Medication. He advised that after the 3 month waiting period, which resulted in benefit date being 01 June 2015, Medihelp will pay. My mom has been to her doctor and obtained her script from him, Medihelp was contacted with the necessary medication to be loaded to Chronic, now Medihelp is refusing to pay saying she needs to wait until 01 March 2016 (12 months from inception) to benefit from Medihelp paying for her medicine. The Medihelp Call Centre advised on Friday that the benefit will only come into effect on 01 March 2016 and that the chronic claim and authorisation has therefore been declined. Gareth, after many times being asked, said that after 3 months, the medication WILL be paid for under the Chronic Benefit of the plan, now the claim is being rejected. Was he just interested in getting his commission and told us this so the deal can be signed before he left Careline?
