Do not ever think of taking out this medical aid or even request a quote

A couple of months I was shopping around for a medical aid. I received a quote from Medihelp which initially impressed me, few days later after reading online reviews about their bad reputation, I got another fantastic offer that I could afford. And offer way better than what was offered by MediHelp. I sent them an email to cancel the membership and they acknowledged receiving it. Later, I got an email and phone calls that I am still bound to pay them the membership fees and should I fail to do so they will hand me over. They were not even open to negotiate how can I make payments for this service that I never used. This company seems to be desperate. Do not ever consider this company. They are bad news.
