Disgusting pathetic treatment of members
Dont ever consider joining this Medcial Aid. I have a huge growth on each ankle (lipomas) which are not only pushing on the veins causing pain, but my foot is starting to grow skew because of this issue. I requested authorisation for a 1 day stay in one of their network hospitals and they declined me. They cannot and will not tell me why, but I suspect that its because I have a plastic surgeon who will be operating, they think I want something cosmetic done. The worst medical aid in SA - I am looking around

Get your business act together, I want a list of reasons why this is being declined (medical reasons) so that I can escalate to the medical aid ombudsman and my lawyer, because dealing with you directly clearly has no value.
