Despicable Medihelp

I cancelled my medical aid as I was unable to afford it due to the lockdown and having no income at all. Medihelp has contacted me every month wanting their money only to be told to be patient until I start earning an income again. I am in the tourism industry so that should tell you a lot about the difficulties we have been facing but the people at Medihelp don’t seem to understand or refuse to. I expected some leniency and patience as I’ve never used their services once but now I’m being threatened with lawyers and debt collectors. We have been trying to survive on UIF but now it seems that will have to go to these despicable lot.
