Deceiving service
Went to the doctor's office to consult him about my leg injury, then when I got their I nearly got a heart attack as well to find out that none of my consultations for the year had been paid for by medihelp. I am only on a hospital plan but know that usually I have a savings benefit which covers a couple of consultations a year. I phoned the to find out what the hell is going on and was told then they had removed that benefit at the start of the year. I had no communication of this and was never informed about this change in plan. First of all I think it's absolutely ridiculous to remove a benefit for which people might sign up for. Obviously so that they could make more money as the fees didn't decrease. Then they said that due to complaints(which will obviously happen as it was a ridiculous decision) they activated this benefit in June again. At this stage I had already paid cash for my current consultation and the accounts lady was kind enough to not make me pay for the other outstanding consultations on the spot and gave me chance to first find out what's happening with the medical aid. Anyway so they \kindly"told me that this isn't their problem and that I will have to pay"""
