Chronic Medication

Good day , judging from all the reviews , I lost my words , but we are new to Medihelp, believe its not as bad as they say , I thought , my daughter aged 26years had a cardiac failure , cardiac failure which she had to wait for Authorization , we had to pay a deposit or go to Govt, well that's like asking to go straight to mortuary do not pass begin and do not collect what you left behind , but that 3 days was hells been to Germiston sat 20 hours no assistants , next day went to JHB Gen. after going to a GP they refused to accept different area , but with an argument they seen her an sent away saying not critical for admission , well there were all Indians doctors as they looked liked it we thought walla my kid will be saved , worst ever , coz the night at Germiston was all blacks and foreigners got more cared for than us , had to be a reason ? but definitely not ****** had be a government thing where all doctors and nurses have to put there degrees in a basket and locked away so they can learn how to chase a patient away instead of taking care of them) ',...………….. and was then told to go to Hellen joseph ,was never looked at , my kid in a critical condition was moved every where , so I went to Dr Abbasi a cardiologist , he done an Echo test and requested immediate admission (while we have Medhelp plan ) as my daughter was swelling with fluids build like her legs was going to pop, and he said go to Hellen joseph , and they said, they will do they own test we must make a file , then we left back to JHB Gen , waited there all night till next day-day4, they just put her on a drip an never allowed us near her , she was vomiting crying in pain , but they left with all that and didn't allow us to clean her up , but I didn't give up on Medihelp I tried every hour of those days to check authorization , they needed to speak to some doctors to see if was disclosed as she as BIH before we can take the plan , ands BIH is Brain Pressure can only be measured by a LP lumber puncture ,which my daughter is losing eye sight , but that is now a 1 year waiting period , but with Gods grace and Medihelp coming trough we moved my daughter back to Netcare Union awesome doctors (Dr Paya and DR Mamdoo) where they took great care of her , now that put us in most appreciated times of having a Medical Plan to nothing , …………………….. BUTT , my daughter need medication to survive coz she was told she needs a heart and a lung transplant , she has Pulmonary Hypertension with a pressure in her lungs so bad that it effected her heart , ………………………….we battling to get those medication on Chronic to help her , ……………...so Medihelp will prefer paying R200k hospital bill than to grant the Chronic medication which costs R9000 per month and they say it does not fit the Criteria, now someone tell me what that means , …………………..gets better they want the doctor to phone Medihelp pharmacists to explain reason for the Viagra and the Volibris, Doctors don't have time they have patience to see too paying patients,and the Medihelp pharmacist don't call out either so we where do we win , only if someone can make a conference call between both parties (Prof Essop the head of cardiology , which his motivational letter is being ignored to Medihelp , to explain reason for the Viagra which my daughter has to take 3x a day to keep her blood flowing with warfarin as well not to cloth , but to date same document going back an forth with no answers , so we bought the 1st month medication cash , dodged some accounts hoping that they come to agreement of the chronic gone 2nd month we don't know what to do , but after her appointment Doctor Mamdoo he was happy with her condition has the pressure in her lungs where lowering which was 130 down to 70 which normal is below 10 , but heart is still too weak , …………………..gets better , she cant have an operation by doing a shunt becoz her heart is too weak even if I offer her my lungs they still cant perform the operation becoz of the Brain pressure too high and heart is weak , so a 26 year old is been refused life , which is possible by medication and in the hands of great doctors like above seeing to her , , ……………..insurance is a gamble we lose they gain that's what it is you must pay but cant claim , so I rather save that money and buy the medication , do AOD with hospitals and pay them term basis I'm sure they accept, so please someone out there please help us understand , or make them understand , please thank you , I hope I never went of board with above , but its a fathers heart which i'm willing to give to my daughter as well,
