Awaiting medical privatisation for hospital admission
I am awaiting preauthorisation for removal of hardware implant on Femur. It is now more than a month with disappointing results. Hardware implant includes 4 *****s that secure the Rod to my femur. Medihelp only authorised code 0884 X 1. Other codes were rejected and the reason being there is no evidence on the x-ray to support the use of these codes ( that is understood). Why is the same philosophy not used to see the 5 pieces of hardware. Please assist as I am giving up.
