Authorisation
<p>Haven't had any medical conditions! Surgeons practice called them and told them the same, but authorsation still under investigation and i have to get a small procedure done in hospital, Why do i have to pay medical expenses and wait for AUTHORISATION. Might as well cancel and use goverment facilites, or just move to another medical aid...sad thought medihelp was hassle free.</p>

Thank you for taking the time to bring your complaint to our attention.
You are within the first year of membership and it is Medihelp’s policy to investigate all benefit requests during the first year of membership, to ensure that all information was declared on the application form. Authorization is subject to investigation for possible pre-existing conditions.
The investigation into your hospital admission request has since been completed and an SMS confirming the pre-authorisation for the hospital admission was sent to the member at 8:03 this morning. Detail of the co-payment on the procedure was also communicated via email.
